3D Printer

I use the Anycubic Kobra 3 Max Combo, a large-format 3D printer with a 420 × 420 × 500 mm build volume, or about 16.5 × 16.5 × 19.7 inches.

It can handle a wide variety of projects, from small children’s toys, replacement pieces, organizers, and simple brackets to larger signs, props, mechanical parts, display pieces, and full-size cosplay helmets.

The larger print area allows many projects to be produced as one solid piece or with fewer separate sections. This can improve the final appearance, reduce visible seams, require less gluing and assembly, and create a stronger finished part.

The Kobra 3 Max Combo also supports multicolor printing, making it possible to add contrasting details, labels, patterns, or decorative features without relying entirely on paint. Pricing for Color will come soon...

Laser Engraver

I will be using the AnyLaser X1, a compact desktop laser engraver designed for detailed personalization and surface engraving.

It will be used to add names, logos, labels, artwork, patterns, serial information, and other custom details to customer-supplied items. Compatible materials may include wood, leather, coated metal, acrylic, certain plastics, phone cases, signs, gifts, and some 3D-printed parts.

Engraving results will vary depending on the material, color, coating, shape, and surface finish. Each item will need to be reviewed before engraving to confirm that it is safe and compatible. Some items may require a small test engraving in an inconspicuous area.

The AnyLaser X1 is currently still in the Kickstarter production stage. Based on the July estimate, it is expected to arrive in late fall. Laser engraving services will become available after the machine arrives and has been fully tested.
